Reflection This assignment is not just beneficial for me now but also in the long run. It really got me started looking into what type of job field I want to work in. I learned what accomplishments really help your resume stand out and which are unnecessary for you to present at a potential job interview. It shocked me to see how long it actually takes to set up your resume and really pinpoint the important information that you want to share with your future employer.

Reflection This assignment was a bit time consuming but it was a real eye opener for me in the many activities that I completed. You think that these are basic activities that you do from time to time but this assignment really showed me that activities such as volunteering or doing any sort of service work really need to be done more often in the society that we live in today. It really pushed me to leave space in my schedule to help out in my community. To take initiative and get others to do the same. Change is possible but no one is going to hold your hand throughout the whole process.
Mentor Interview

Reflection This mentor interview really taught me the endless opportunities that there are available in the workplace. I not only go to research a possible career that I was interested in but I got to work on my communication skills with a business professional. I found it quite interesting hearing someone talk about what they do for a living and the motivation that they have to continue in the same career path. What really impacted me was hearing the statement in my mentor interview "its not about choosing a job, but rather a career that you can continue to grow in". That really showed me what I can expect when I enter the workplace. Everyone sets their own goals and expectations for themselves.
